Club Notes – 5th August 2018

*Aughlisnafin seniors game against Kilclief was postponed. It will be re-fixed later in the month.

*Ballylough Minors were at home to Warrenpoint on Tuesday evening in the Minor championship. They will play away to Kilcoo next Tuesday at 7.30 pm.

*Our U16?s were at home to Saul on Sunday morning. Both teams were understrength and the match was played as 13 aside. A minutes reflection was observed before the game to commemorate Gaelic Sunday. Saul were on top in the first half and led 3-5 to 0-5 at the interval. A much improved second half hour saw the Fin outscore the visitors 1-8 to 1-3. Ryan Morgan was in superb form and top scored with 1-5 from play. Morgan Croskery 0-4, Dermy Lavery 0-3 and Rhys Clarke 0-1 were also on target. Odhran Maguire impressive in nets.

*Our U14s played their final league game away to Drumaness on Monday evening.

*Our Year 6?s will travel to Longstone this Saturday for their annual U10.5 tournament.

*Upcoming fixtures Ballylough minors v Kilcoo (A) 7.30 pm next Tuesday.

*The club will be hosting a ?Pairc Baile Anna Meeting of Families Camp Out? on Saturday 25th August from 3 pm to coincide with the World Meeting of Families event in Dublin. It will be ?15 per tent and all funds raised will go towards the development of our underage teams. *Our senior player Calum Croskery ties the knot on Wednesday. Best wishes to Calum and Rebecca.
