Mr Connery congratulated the club on a very successful season which saw a return to the field of our senior team. He congratulated the minor players on their Feis an Dúin 7’s success both in East Down and in the All County Final. He also congratulated our underage teams, most notably our U14’s on winning the East Down ‘C’ league.  *Unable to provide our own players with the opportunity to taste All County U21 championship football, two of players have been invited to play for the St Malachy’s Castlewellan entry. Eoin Lundy and Oran Flanagan have enjoyed a great season playing all county football with Baile an Locha minors and for Aughlisnafin seniors and no doubt will be great additions to their panel. Both lads were involved in the opening game victory and now await the quarters. Its great to see players get opportunities to compete in the competiton and with amalgamations like Croidte An Dúin entering this year, this is a competition Baile an Locha will hope to be involved in at the next earliest opportunity but in the meantime good luck to the lads.
